Orders to addresses inside the EU:
This is where it gets tricky: The EU has introduced various laws that make it harder to send stuff. In addition to the cost of postage itself, there’s a €3 fee for each different kind of item inside the package, then there’s the local VAT to factor in, and on top of that, some countries are charging their own customs processing fee. What this means is that we’ve had to increase our shipping costs into the EU significantly. Our website will calculate the charges, but we will advise you to check if any of your friends are visiting the UK – and have the order posted to them to take back for you! (or email us, and arrange to collect your order from one of the bookfairs on the mainland).
International orders outside of the EU:
We post via royal mail (who will use the local postal service in the destination country). Where we can post with tracking available, we will send it tracked. If we can pay the duties, we will – but, you may still have to pay a customs inspection fee.
Customs:
All we will do is post your item to the address you’ve given us, and, you’ll need to deal with your local customs authority. It is your responsibility to sort this out, all we can do is post your books to you, with the correct documentation on them about contents, and with the address you have supplied us with. PM cannot be held responsible for the actions of governments.
