End the housing crisis, abolish landlords.
Landlords are parasites, extracting profit from the labour of those with less capital than themselves. This process drives up rent and property value, trapping people in spiralling poverty, and fuelling a seemingly endless housing crisis. This image presents a brighter possibility in which land is owned in common by those who use and maintain it, a future prefigured by projects such as housing cooperatives.
