Tom Nomad’s reflections of how revolutions have failed.
The struggle that we need to fight is not simply against capitalism or the state that allows it to function, but it is against a whole ontology of human vision, a concept that the purpose of existence is to fulfill some historical mission, to reach some utopian end, and, thus, to fulfill some truth of existence. It is this world, this world of historical teleology, goals, missions, progress, that we need to destroy, not just its capitalist manifestation. And, at least, at this point, there is no real language to think ourselves through this.
