About the author:
‘Big Bob Campbell’ is a Scottish singer-song writer who spent and spends his adult life in the north east of england. Born in Stornoway, he grew up in Perthshire and the east of scotland. He lived in south africa as a young infant, and was brought back to scotland with a strong accent – where he was badly bullied. That stopped Meigle in 1977: that trauma underlines Bob’s empathy, pacifism, and political views. Those scars run deep.
